GIRLS JANUARY & FEBRUARY FIELD HOCKEY PROGRAMS

Capitalland Field Hockey is proud to announce our January & February indoor winter field hockey line up which will be held on the turf fields of the Sportsplex in Halfmoon on Thursday nights starting 1/7/10 and ending 2/25/10.  Again this year we will be offering league play for varsity girl’s as well as some of the best girl’s beginner, novice, intermediate and advanced instructional programs in the area.  Current senior field hockey players are eligible to play in all of our programs.  These programs are coached by some of the finest field hockey coaches in section two.  Our coaches will instruct each player using the same techniques they have used to mold numerous all league & all American players in the past.

GIRLS VARSITY FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE

We will be running a weekly varsity level league that will feature games versus other local school teams for all girls who will be trying out for their varsity teams in the fall as well as current high school seniors & post graduates.  Players can join with a full team, as a partial team, or as free agents.  A highly qualified official will referee each game.  Each player will receive a game pinnie and a championship round will occur at the end of the regular season.  Please contact me if you want to enter a full or partial team into one of our leagues.  

GIRLS VARSITY & OPEN LEAGUE is for all girls who will be trying out for their varsity team in the fall as well as current seniors and post graduate players.   



GIRLS INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS

These programs highlight our expert coaching staff’s ability to teach the advanced, intermediate, novice and beginner players the right way to play field hockey.  These programs will sharpen player’s basic skills while being intro. to more advanced skills.  These programs will take place in an encouraging, positive environment that supports physical and mental growth and are coached by some of the finest most respected field hockey coaches in the area.   *A player could do our instructional program & play in our league as the times will not conflict. 

GIRLS ADVANCED SKILLS PROGRAM grades 9th – 12th:  For the intermediate & advanced skill level players who want to be introduced to more advanced techniques. 

GIRLS BEGINNER AND NOVICE PROGRAM grades 5th – 10th:  For girls who are novice or beginning field hockey players and want to sharpen their basic skills while being introduced to more advanced techniques.
