What is the NEHSFHS?
The Northeast High School Field Hockey Showcase (NEHSFHS) was established for high school field hockey athletes to demonstrate their talents. This venue setting will be used to showcase the individual athlete's talent by utilizing grass as well as turf fields. Our unique facilities allow for the athlete to be in game situations as well as showcase their athletic abilities while using an athletic combine approach, showing speed, agility and ball handling skills. This approach used by the NEFHHSS will allow for college coaches from around the country to evaluate and thoroughly assess the athlete's potential in a convenient world class facility.
Our fresh approach to this Showcase will attract outstanding high school athletes from New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey and the New England States. All Division I, II and III colleges have been invited to this important event, which will help their college recruit the best athlete for their respective school.
The NEHSFHS is a three-day event designed to give outstanding college-bound athletes the most convenient and best recruiting opportunity ever. Incoming sophomores through anyone entering their senior year, or a freshman with their coach's recommendation who wants to take their talents to the next level are invited to see firsthand what they can expect with the college recruiting process.
Our approach will allow recruiter's to view all athletes by viewing their skills while playing on grass and turf fields, using a 7 vs. 7 play format. Included in this showcase will be an athletic combine to see the best athletes perform. This will demonstrate the athlete's speed, agility, ball handling skills as well as shooting and goal keeping abilities. There will be an all-star game at the end of the event. All-star player selections will be determined by coaching staff ballots.
The registration fee includes all games, a team jersey, the Friday night team building and clinic, and recruiting exposure.
