Learning what it takes to get to the next level...

Student athletes are rarely satisfied with being mediocre and always looking to better themselves. Once collegiate athletes hang up their cleats, they shift their attention to the workforce using the same principles that made them successful as a student athlete.

Athletes seldom lose the passion of always trying to improve themselves to get to the next level. Most people want to get to the next level, but do nothing to get there. That is what makes athletes truly elite, because they know what it takes to get to the top.

The Skidmore Field Hockey Clinic is known to bring the best out of players, because the clinic itself represents the same workout that collegiate players do every day as they prepare for each game.

The drills and workouts were intense, to the dismay of players whom thought this would be a walk in the park, so intense that not everyone made it.

Several players could not complete the clinic, others just did not have the passion and left early, but those that stayed for the full three hour workout...showed the true spirit of the athletic desire to bring their game to the next level...

The following players should be congratulated for participating and fully completing the Skidmore College Field Hockey Clinic held today at the main gym, because today, they learned what it takes to get to the next level:

Erin Connelly
Rachel Feurer
Catherine Kennedy
Emily Peterson

The clinic was a full three hour intense collegiate drill and workout with the Skidmore Division III team.

As one Skidmore player said, "No Sweat, No Glory!".
